A small independent press that makes editorial books for the animals you live with. You upload a few photos and a few details about your pet, we compose a beautifully written and illustrated book around them, and you choose how to keep it: a digital PDF, a softcover, or a hardcover. Two editions: the Storybook (a present-tense celebration) and the Keepsake (a quieter tribute volume).

Three to five works well. Phone photos are fine. Natural light, faces visible, varied angles. Sharp eyes in at least one. We use them as references for both the pet’s likeness and a few small props that turn up in scenes (a favorite toy, a familiar blanket).

Most people finish in 10 to 15 minutes from upload to preview. Generation runs in 30 seconds to 2 minutes once you approve the preview. The digital PDF is available immediately. Printed books arrive within 7 to 14 business days after you send the book to print.

Yes. Both editions show you chapter one of generated text alongside several illustrations before payment, so you can confirm the writing voice and your pet’s likeness before committing. The preview is partly hidden (a taste of what is ahead) but the book you receive after purchase is complete: every page, every word. If the preview is not right, you can adjust your inputs and run it again.

The Storybook is a celebration in present tense: a warm, slightly wry profile of your pet as they are today. The Keepsake is a quieter tribute, also in present tense, for the companion who is aging, or simply for the years you want to set down on paper. Both are made to be returned to. Storybooks tend to suit gifts and birthdays. Keepsakes suit anniversaries, tributes, and the deeper “I want to remember this” moments.

It can be. The Keepsake is composed in the present tense throughout: your pet is on the page exactly as you knew them, still in the room. Many customers order a Keepsake when their pet is no longer with them. Many others order one for a companion who is very much still around. The writing keeps to warmth and remembering, and it never assumes your pet is no longer here. The decision is yours.

Books are single-pet for now. A two-pet book is in the works. To be told when it is available, sign up to the journal in the footer.

Yes, that is the whole point. Our pipeline keeps your pet’s likeness consistent across every illustration in the book. The pet on page 24 is the same pet on page 4. If the likeness in the preview is off, you can edit your inputs and run the preview again before paying.

No. Your photos are sent to our AI providers strictly to compose your book and are never used to train any model. The full processor list is in our Privacy Policy.

Both are printed on 80 lb coated paper (120 gsm) and ship worldwide. Softcover is coil-bound and lies flat. Hardcover is printed in premium color and built for the bookshelf, with a 6mm spine. Most customers choose hardcover for Keepsakes.

Yes. The PDF is included free with every printed book. You will find a quiet download link beneath the send-to-print action on the back cover of your book.

Yes. From the book viewer, click Order softcover or Order hardcover on the back cover. You pay the printed book’s price — your digital PDF is already yours to keep. The text locks at that moment so the printed book matches the version you have been reading.

Yes. You compose the book from your account and ship to their address. A short dedication line goes on the title page. We do not currently offer gift cards.

Yes. Keepsake text is fully editable from your library after payment, right up to the moment you download the digital PDF or send the book to print. You can rewrite any line, refine the dedication, adjust the closing letter from your pet, as many times as you like. Either action (downloading or sending to print) locks the text so the printed book and the PDF in your inbox match word for word.

Storybooks are read as they arrive. The text is a composed narrative and is not editable after generation. Keepsakes are made for refining: you can edit any line before locking.

Downloading or sending to print locks the text on purpose. If your printed book is on its way to the press, the PDF in your inbox needs to match it word for word. If you need help with an edit after locking, email hello@petsandpages.com.

Usually 30 seconds to 2 minutes. If it has been longer than 5 minutes, email hello@petsandpages.com and we will look into it.

Your printed book does not ship the moment you pay. We pause the press so you can review the full book first. Once you click Send to print on the back cover, your book is sent to the press, typically arriving within 7 to 14 business days.

By design. We give you a chance to read through the final book (and, for Keepsakes, refine any lines you want to change) before committing to print. Open your book from your library and click Send to print on the back cover when you are ready.

Worldwide, with one exception: we are not licensed to ship printed books to mainland UAE addresses (free zone licensing). UAE Free Zone customers are unaffected, and the digital PDF is available everywhere. Full details in our Shipping Policy.

Yes. Included in the price of every printed book. No separate shipping fees, no extra international charges. Customs duties or import taxes charged at the destination remain the recipient’s responsibility.

Full refund before generation begins. After generation, refunds are not available if you simply change your mind (each book is custom to your inputs, and you preview before paying), but if something is wrong, email hello@petsandpages.com and we will work with you to make it right. Damaged or misprinted books are replaced at no cost within 14 days of delivery. Full details in our Refund Policy.

Your finished books live in your library. PDFs are available to re-download for 14 days after a digital purchase, or 30 days after a printed book is delivered. After that, your text and plan stay saved, and you can bring the book back for a small fee.
