Refund & Shipping Policy

Every Pets & Pages book is produced to order and personalised to your pet. This page explains how we handle refunds, replacements, delivery times, and questions about your order.

Refunds

Before production starts

If you contact us before generation begins, we will cancel your order and issue a full refund. Generation typically begins within minutes of payment, so please reach out as soon as possible.

After production starts

Because each book is personalised to your pet and produced uniquely for you, we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind or dissatisfaction with the AI-generated output once production has started. You may preview your story and edit the text before purchase to make sure you are happy with the result.

Defective prints

If your printed book arrives damaged, misprinted, or otherwise defective, email us at hello@petsandpages.com within 14 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We will replace the book at no additional cost.

Lost or undelivered shipments

If a tracking number shows no movement for more than 14 days, contact us and we will work with the carrier and our print partner to either deliver the book or reprint and resend it.

Delivery times

These are good-faith estimates measured from the moment your book is ready for delivery (after generation finishes). Delays caused by carriers, customs, or force majeure are outside our control.

  • Digital download (PDF)— available immediately after generation finishes.
  • Softcover print— 7 to 14 business days, depending on destination.
  • Hardcover print— 10 to 18 business days, depending on destination.

Shipping costs

Shipping is included in the price you see for printed books. There are no surprise fees at checkout. Customs duties, where applicable, are the responsibility of the recipient.

File expiry

Generated PDFs and image files are kept on our servers for 30 days after delivery. The text plan and your edits are preserved beyond that, so you can re-download or re-print the same book in the future for a small regeneration fee shown on the pricing page.
