01 · Who we are

The data controller.

Pets & Pages is operated by ILB E-Solutions LLC, a UAE limited liability company registered in Meydan Free Zone, Dubai. ILB E-Solutions LLC is the data controller for personal data processed through this service. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean ILB E-Solutions LLC.

02 · Data we collect

What we hold.

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Account details. Email address, display name, hashed password, and (if you sign in with Google or Apple) the identifier those providers return to us.
  • Pet inputs. Photos you upload of your pet, the pet’s name, descriptions, traits, themes, and any free-text you provide.
  • Book content. The text and imagery our service generates from your inputs.
  • Order details. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers. Shipping address and contact details for physical orders.
  • Usage data. Device type, browser, operating system, country and city derived from your IP, pages visited, session duration, and product events. Captured through PostHog as anonymized analytics.
  • Support communications. Anything you send us by email or contact form.
  • Diagnostic data. Client-side error logs we use to fix bugs.
03 · How we use it

The purposes of processing.

We process your personal data to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Generate the books you order, including running your photos and inputs through our AI providers.
  • Take and confirm payment, and prevent fraud.
  • Print and ship physical orders, and provide tracking information.
  • Send transactional emails (order confirmations, delivery updates, password resets).
  • Measure usage in aggregate to improve the platform.
  • Meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to train any external AI model.

04 · Lawful bases

Why we are allowed to process it.

  • ContractCreating and delivering the book you ordered, managing your account, processing payment.
  • Legitimate interestsPlatform improvement, security, fraud prevention, anonymized analytics.
  • Legal obligationTax records, financial reporting, responses to lawful requests.
  • ConsentNewsletter subscription and any optional feature you opt into. Withdrawable at any time.
05 · Third-party processors

Who else touches your data.

The platform relies on the following processors. Each operates under a written data-processing agreement that restricts use of your data to providing the service we have contracted them for.

  • SupabaseDatabase, authentication, file storage.
  • VercelApplication hosting and edge delivery.
  • Google Cloud RunImage generation orchestration.
  • StripePayment processing. PCI-DSS compliant.
  • OpenRouterAI gateway for text and image generation.
  • Lulu PressPrint fulfillment and worldwide shipping.
  • ResendTransactional email delivery.
  • PostHogAnonymized product analytics.
  • UpstashRate limiting and ephemeral caching.

None of these providers are permitted to use your personal data for their own marketing.

06 · International transfers

Where your data is processed.

Some of the providers above operate outside the United Arab Emirates, principally in the United States and the European Union. When personal data is transferred across jurisdictions we rely on standard contractual clauses and recognized adequacy frameworks to maintain the protections you expect.

07 · Retention windows

How long we keep things.

  • Account profileWhile your account is active.
  • Pet inputs (photos, descriptions, traits)While your account is active. Deleted on closure.
  • Generated text and book planKept while your account is active so you can reorder a reprint.
  • Generated book files (PDF, hi-res imagery)30 days after delivery, then automatically purged.
  • Order and payment records7 years (tax and financial compliance).
  • Analytics sessions12 months, then purged.
  • Error logs90 days.
  • Support communications3 years after resolution.

When you close your account we delete the personal data tied to it. Order records required by law are retained in anonymized form.

08 · Your rights

What you can ask for.

You may at any time:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is inaccurate.
  • Delete your account and the personal data tied to it.
  • Restrict or object to particular kinds of processing.
  • Withdraw consent for any optional feature.
  • Receive a portable copy of the data you provided.

Email legal@petsandpages.com with the right you want to exercise. We respond within 30 days.

09 · Children

Pets & Pages is for adults.

The service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided data to us, contact legal@petsandpages.com and we will remove it.

10 · Cookies and tracking

What runs in your browser.

We use strictly-necessary cookies for authentication and session continuity, and first-party analytics cookies (PostHog) for anonymized usage measurement. We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or third-party advertising trackers. Country and city are inferred from your network address for display purposes; we do not collect precise GPS location.

11 · Security

How we protect it.

  • Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes; we never see your password in plain text.
  • All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
  • Databases are encrypted at rest.
  • Production access is restricted to a small number of named engineers.
  • Payment is handled entirely by Stripe under PCI-DSS.
  • We monitor for unusual activity and respond to credible reports of vulnerabilities.

No system is impenetrable. If you believe your account has been compromised, email legal@petsandpages.com immediately.

12 · Updates to this policy

How we tell you when things change.

When our practices change we update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes receive notice on the platform or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

13 · Complaints

If you are not happy with how we handle your data.

First, email legal@petsandpages.com and tell us what is wrong. We respond within one month. If you remain dissatisfied, you may also contact the data-protection authority in your country of residence.
